Node Management: Network Policies
Administrators can configure policies that govern how Files transfer nodes interact with each other. You can apply the policies you configure to one or more nodes.
- Transfer initiation policy: Control which node initiates a transfer. This is particularly useful when a given node is configured with firewall settings to block incoming connections from some or all peer nodes, while still allowing outbound connections.
- Access control policy: Restrict the nodes available for transfers. You can designate specific nodes with which transfers are allowed (whitelist) or prohibited (blacklist).
